New Blog : The Daily Sketch

This is a project to motivate me to draw more. I have a problem when drawing that my years in art school did not erase, namely that I have a hard time finishing any project I start. This could be due to procrastination, or a desire to make each time I put pencil/pen/brush to paper I need to have a well-rendered piece to show for it. Maybe its a fear that if I do finish any single piece, I'll realize that i'm not as good as I wish I was.

So in order to accept and combat this issue, I am starting this blog. For 365 days, I will upload a sketch. I'm specifically not trying to be great or even good with these drawings, i'm just trying to get into the habit of drawing every day.

I hope this works. Posting every single day will be difficult from a logistic point of view, but we'll see how that works out.
